Put together one very run-down house, a deserving family, several opinionated designers, seven days and what do you get? The answer is Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Joining the series for Season 8 will be Jillian Harris (a successful designer who previously was featured as The Bachelorette in Season 5), Xzibit (performer in music, film and television) and Leigh Anne Tuohy (a successful interior decorator best known as being portrayed by Sandra Bullock in the Oscar-winning film The Blind Side). Each episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition features a race against time on a project that would ordinarily take at least four months to achieve, involving a team of designers, contractors and several hundred workers who all have just seven days to totally rebuild an entire house. And continuing for Season 8, “Get On the Bus” will feature more big-name celebrities as volunteers! (Season 8)
